Week 8

This week:

• More pictures of the sweet baby
• His dad kept him content and quiet with a blow dryer. True story.
• Four days of school. Friday scheduled day off.
• One day spent with LM throwing up
• One night of no sleep
• Another snow storm
• TB ate 12 chicken nuggets at dinner one night
• Two loaves of bread made
• Two loads of throw up laundry (in addition to all the rest)
• MT told me she wants to be a doctor, a fireman and a teacher when she grows up
• She also promised she’d visit me
• Made a cheesecake
• Realized that not much happens with one two-year old down

Week 6

This week:

• Four loaves of bread
• Taught Relief Society
• Had my hair done while studying for my lesson
• One snow day (for everyone)
• Lots of inches of snow
• A trip to Topeka to the ENT for TB and LM
• LM needs tubes
• TB still has his tubes in *victory dance*
• One home inspection
• Repairs we can agree on
• We think we’ve finally sold the house
• We think we’ve found a new house
• Hurry up and wait
• Made 42 cupcakes
• New glasses for LM
• Baby shower. The quilt has met its intended owner
• Lots of noses wiped
• A cold is threatening
• The walls are bare

Week 5

This week:

• Celebrated with Kansas. 150 years.
• Found THE cookbook to cook my way through
• The house was looked at four times (over the weekend)
• The Boy stole a toy from the store
• The Boy returned said toy
• Three snow days. In a row.
• Didn’t leave the house for three days
• Two days that David was home with us
• Blizzard-like weather (I’m no weather man, but…)
• Finally finished the baby quilt (and then the shower was postponed)
• Make two loaves of banana bread, two loaves of oatmeal raisin bread, 7 (ish) dozen cookies, and spinach dip. All for a training at David’s work that ended up being canceled due to the fact that the post was closed for two days.
• Made four loaves of wheat bread
• Cooked my first recipe from THE cookbook
• Ordered frames for LM
• Finished my fifth Jane book

Week 4

This week:

• Four loaves of bread (none for the dog, ha-ha!)
• Made whole-wheat pancakes, just ok, in search for another recipe
• Finished book three and four of Jane, now onto my fifth one
• Made two doctors appointments
• Took LM to try on glasses, waiting for new ones to be ordered. Can hardly wait
• Painted a pinewood derby car (it was a joint effort)
• Went to said derby
• A full week of school, the first in a few weeks
• Snow is almost melted
• Took LM to the library for reading time
• MT figured out how to work buttons and zipping up her coat by herself, so cool
• LM figured out zippers too, not as cool
