Very busy day!
First we visited the Johnson Farm. A home that The Prophet Joseph Smith lived at for a time.
Check out these floors!
The kids need some running around time.
Then we went to visit the Morley Farm. Which not longer has a home on it. But still was a beautiful place to be.
Then the rock quarry where stone was taken for the Kirkland Temple.
We took a walk near the temple and saw a number of different homes (that were not for visitors, people were living there) then visited the Kirkland Cemetery.
Near Lake Erie is a lighthouse were early saints got off the Erie Canal on their way to Kirkland.
After all of that running and going we went to Lake Erie. For some swimming.
Ate our dinner out of plastic baggies, lack of preparation on the Mia Maids this time (14-15 year old girls).
Then had a lovely fireside and an amazing sunset. A perfect end to a really good day.
