On Friday Ruth had her last XC meet of the season. It was a wet and rainy run but she still shaved over a minute off her fastest time and got a new PR! So proud of her. I have loved watching her develop a passion for running (does not come from me!). She is looking ahead and making plans to run in high school (when she gets there in 5 years). It's such a balance between encouraging her to find ways to train (aka telling her what she needs to do) between now and next school year but also allowing her to take the lead and set her own goals. #missruthanee
