Just a few things I want to remember about Christmas 2016. 1. I had to make Ruth get out of bed, at 8:00. Christmas day and I'm hearing my child say to me, "it's too early." 2. Somehow we were able to make Christmas wishes come true. The Boy has been asking for a bow and arrow and a Captain America shield. We had just about given up on the shield (the metal is a little hard to find) but just a few days befor Christmas there it was, in backpack form. 2. The look of excitement on Ruth's face when we stood there with her brother's present and she didn't even notice we had something for her too. 4. Ruth is a cotton candy master. I knew she was good at eating it, but we now know her cotton candy talents extend to making it too. 6. One huge rainbow right outside our back door 5. Today there was laughter and joy and I felt our girl with us. It's been a Merry Christmas indeed.
