Mary has been receiving insulin shots since Tuesday night and we still haven't quite figured out the right dosages for her. She will be staying here a couple more days. As David and I are "changing shifts" I'm getting ready to head home while he takes over here. Which has me feeling all the feels at the thought of leaving her. I know her dad is more than capable of handling things here but it hearts my mother heart just the same. The rational part of me knows this is all very neccessary, so in the future we can take care of all her shifting glucose needs at home. The irrational part, though, just wants to grab my baby and run. Acknowledging the hard stuff is half the battle sometimes #drivinglittlemissmary
