Happy Mothering Day to you dear friends! Keeping it real on this day to celebrate womanhood. Getting this photo was painful for all parties involved. Well maybe except for Mary, she was pretty pleased with herself. I probably won't be able to look at this photo without thinking about the fit I threw over the lack of happy and cooperating children. Or the fact that one daughter was in tears 5 minutes previous due to some consequences from her choices. Or the Boy who. Refused. To. Smile. Or even pretend to for that matter. However this is a day to celebrate the fact that we, as women, are divinely given the power to mother and to conquer all of the above. I love these unhappy, uncooperative, fake smiling children of mine more than words can say. And their dad is pretty wonderful too. #happymotheringday
