Another long day of driving. We finally made it home. Seeing so much of this country has truly been a remarkable experience.
We did experience one more roadblock on our way home. Just before reaching Lawrence we were stopped. There had been an accident involving a semi, in a construction zone, with only one lane of traffic. We did finally make it back to Junction City. David went on to Salina to take the boys to Stake Priesthood and I followed behind once the rest of the travelers arrived. We got the vans cleaned out and turned in. By the time we got home exhaustion doesn’t even begin to describe how we were feeling.
But we did it!
